We are happy to announce Seth Cook as our latest Fresh Find here at Freshly Brewed Country!
Country music is the heart and backbone of 21-year-old Seth Cook. When asked where he grew up, he'll tell you Indiana, but the real answer is that Seth grew up on the road.
Currently playing lead guitar and singing with his parent's band, Cook and Belle, Seth started out his musical career on the drums. Eventually, he found his way around a guitar and began writing songs at 15.
He has been touring the country since he was 4 years old, and has played over 1000 shows, fairs, and festivals in his lifetime. Alongside his many achievements, Seth made it through to the TV auditions of the popular television competition, Season 5 The Voice.
Despite being only one vote away from making it through, his values and morals kept him persevering. He has opened for artists such as Lonestar, Rascal Flatts, Montgomery Gentry, Luke Bryan, and Vince Gill (one of his all-time idols).
He is currently working on new music, and playing shows almost every night. Check out his tour dates for a show near you!

We know you wanted to learn more about Seth Cook, so be sure to check out our interview with the country singer below.
FBC: What made you want to get involved in the country music world?
SC: Ever since I was a baby, my parents have been touring/recording country artists. So, country music has been something I've been around my entire life. I first started playing the drums at 3 years old. My parents knew that I would be involved in music when they saw the natural ability and love for it. My mom and dad are a big reason to why I got involved in music but I think when I got older, I realized how real and vulnerable country music was. The tradition of country music is something I respect and it's a welcoming genre for artists that have real things to say. That's why I got involved in the country music world.
FBC: What song of yours is your favorite and why?
SC: My favorite song that I've written so far is a song called "Me Without You." I wrote this song with a buddy of mine Willie Mack. I love this song because it's honest and heartfelt. I think that anyone that hears the song can relate. It's the most traditional country song on my new record. It's not a song I'd ever release as a single but it's a crowd favorite.
FBC: What has been your favorite memory of your music journey so far?
SC: My favorite memory of my musical journey is definitely growing up playing on the road with my family. Like I said before, my parents are also artists and ever since I was a kid I've been on a stage performing. They gave me my first opportunity to be a performer. They're extremely encouraging and never forced me into it.
FBC: Who is your country music idol and why?
SC: My country music idol is Vince Gill. He's truly given a great example of how to do it the right way. He's one of the best of all time, plane and simple.
FBC: What are three fun facts about you that you want your fans to know?
SC: Three fun facts about me, hmmmmm. 1) I love water sports. 2) I'm a connoisseur of hot tubs haha. 3) I played basketball in high school.
