Hailing from the same small town Luke Bryan calls home and graduating from the same high school as Cole Swindell, Nick proves to be yet another form of extreme talent that flows from the heart of South Georgia.

Ask around these parts, and you will consistently hear how "local artists have big shoes to fill". That being said, Nick's new single 'Get It Girl' is proof enough, that his plans of "owning his own new boots" is in full effect.

Within his first year as a solo artist he was a top contender and nominee for 2013 Georgia CMA Male Artist of the Year, and just recently took home Country Male Artist of the Year on June 14th, while he attended the GMA's in Atlanta!

In this year stretch, he has accumulated over 10,000 social media followers/fans throughout the nation and has been named as the fastest growing unsigned artist in the state of Georgia.

FBC: What made you want to get involved in the country music world?

NA: I've always had interest in music itself. Naturally, growing up in South Georgia I just kinda fell into the country genre and ran with it.

FBC: What song of yours is your favorite and why?

NA: I'd have to say that "I Get It Honest" is my favorite. It's the very first unreleased song I wrote in Nashville (with Todd Hanchock), that I wrote about my grandfather.

FBC: If you could duet with any country star who would it be and why?

NA: Carrie Underwood because she has a voice of an angle and let's be honest, who wouldn't want to stand next to her.

FBC: What are three fun facts about you that you want your fans to know?

NA: 1) I do not like spiders. At all. Seriously. 2) I secretly listen to hardcore metal. 3) Sometimes right before a show I'll do calisthenics to get my blood flowing before I run out on stage.
