Our Fresh Find Lauren Davidson released her debut EP Hear Me today. Her EP was written as a collaboration with herself, her father, and Cristian Camilo Castro.
Davidson has received praise from Audio Fuzz, who stated, “Davidson brings about the same attitude as an early Patsy Cline or Linda Ronstadt; that ‘I can do this myself’ attitude.”
She has spent her entire life surrounded by music; her singer-songwriter father had previously opened for Jerry Seinfield and Paul Reiser and she still writes music with him often.
Davidson’s music pulls from the pop singer-songwriter genre, while incorporating elements of contemporary country, straight out of Nashville, citing influences such as Little Big Town and The Band Perry.
Each song on Davidson’s album is hit and we guarantee they will be the newest addition to your playlist. Don’t Stop is the perfect song to get you pumped up before going out with your girls. We’ve already been singing it into our hairbrush since we first heard it.
The title track Hear Me is the perfect inspiration for the girl who wants to go out on her own and take her independence back! Davidson also provides the perfect soundtrack for moving on with her hit It’s You.
The Songs
