Our favorite family trio, The Tennessee Werewolves, has put together their debut album; American Dream. This album features eleven tracks that is sure to make them a fan favorite. These Fresh Finds have a cool, collective sounds of old fashion dixie roots, bluegrass picking, Haggard styled lyrics and rocking high energy vocals. The band consists of Angel Mary on Lead Vocals and Guitar, Christian Wolf on Vocals and Drums, and Antoine Wolf on Vocals and Bass Guitar.

The album starts out with the tune Outlaw Life. This tune is the perfect opener for The Tennessee Werewolves’ album as it describes who they are in the country music world. This trio stays true to their roots, which is what makes them stand out in the music industry. Bang Bang tells the story of

an adult game of Cowboys and Indians where you are now protecting your heart. This is already a favorite at Freshly Brewed Country as it talks about the relatable feeling of being a part of the game of love. Angel Mary speaks to every girl who has lost her heart and has to learn the good, the bad and the ugly about love. We truly cannot get enough of this track.

The Tennessee Werewolves are great storytellers, which is evident their track Amy’s Gone. This track is focused on a girl who is strong minded and wants to do things on her own accord. These feelings are relatable to many and in a world where there is so much pressure to think or act a certain way this song shows that life is a journey and you get one so it is important to live it the way you want to. When they sing about her riding free on the highway it is a feeling we all want; to feel like we have the ability to do anything our heart desires.

Recently, The Tennessee Werewolves joined forces with Kenny Olson ex-lead guitar player of Kid Rock on the road and has made their journey down to Memphis TN, to the legendary Sam Phillips recording studio where they cut their new hit radio single Ramblin, which you have probably already rocked out to on your radio. This single has quickly become a personal favorite of ours as its strong vocals encourage you to sing along.

I don’t think it could truly be a Tennessee Werewolves’ album if there wasn’t a song titled; Howl At The Moon. This song brings out the animal in all of us and we can all picture that one person throughout the song that truly makes us want to howl and bark at the moment. At the end of this track listeners are sure to howl along with the trio. American Dream and NashVegas both feature Kelby Ray from The Cadillac Three. NashVegas is the perfect road-tripping song to blast out of your speakers with your windows down. The album takes a different turn with American Dream describing the slightly darker side to the perfect life we all strive for.

The Tennessee Werewolves’ song Cowboy features Doug Phelps from The Kentucky Headhunters. This track is perfect to get you ready for a night out. It sets the mood for going out and finding that Cowboy you just can’t take your eyes off of, knowing what you want and making sure that you get it. This is a song I have recently been singing to myself each time I get ready for a girl’s night out. The lyric rebel, rebel, what’s your name is a sure fire pick-up line that should be put to use, but only if you can accomplish the sultry tone of Angel Mary.

The trio helps Johnny Cash live on with their cut of his classic Folson Prison Blues. To produce this song they worked with Cash’s son John Carter Cash, which adds a special aspect to the behind-the-scenes of such a well done cut of this song. It is always a risk to put your own spin on a classic, but The Tennessee Werewolves have successfully made a voice for themselves while preserving the iconic feel of their idol Cash’s cut of the tune.

Country Girl is another rock’n’roll country song that you will rock out to as soon as you hear the first beat. If the musical intro isn’t enough to drag you in the storyline of 2AM will have you engrossed to hear how this story is going to end. This song is relatable to listeners who have all experienced that someone they couldn’t wait to have by their side even it was only at 2AM. Ending the album with this track was a great decision as it showcases a different side of the trio while still preserving their unique old-fashioned sound. In a world where country music is sometimes bordering pop it is great to hear the musical stylings of The Tennessee Wereweolves staying true to their country roots.

With their own unique sound and staying true to their roots The Tennessee Werewolves will have you howling along to each track; waiting anxiously for what they have in store for their Wolfpack next! Follow along and we will let you know as soon as American Dream is available.
